This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Tarovela collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It is written for visitors and customers in the United States. Information we collect

Information you provide

Your phone number (to sign in via a one-time SMS code), your first name, your reading question and chosen spread, and your payment details, which are processed by our payment provider Stripe (we do not receive or store your full card number).

Information collected automatically

When you use the site we and our tools collect device and usage data: IP address, browser/user-agent, pages viewed, and cookie or pixel identifiers. If you arrive from an ad, we may receive click identifiers (e.g. fbclid, ttclid) and campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content).

How we use your information

• To create and deliver your tarot reading (text and audio).
• To sign you in and secure your account via SMS verification.
• To process payments through Stripe.
• To operate, secure, and debug the service.
• For analytics and advertising, including measuring ad campaign performance.

How we share your information — “sale” and “sharing”

We use advertising and analytics services — Meta (Facebook), TikTok, Google, and Pinterest. To measure conversions we also send a server-side signal to Meta and TikTok after a purchase; your email and phone number are transmitted only as SHA-256 hashes (never plain text), together with any ad click identifier and your IP/user-agent.

Under California and several other state laws, sharing identifiers with ad platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. You can opt out at any time — see “Your choices” below. We also use Stripe (as a service provider for payments) and our hosting provider, which process data on our behalf.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to know about, access, correct, and delete the personal information we hold, and to opt out of its sale/sharing for targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

You can direct us not to sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising at Your Privacy Choices. When you opt out, we stop loading advertising/analytics tools and stop sending the server-side conversion signal for you.

Data retention

• Your account phone number is retained until you delete your account or ask us to remove it.
• Your readings (question, text, and audio) are kept so you can replay them anytime; you can delete them by deleting your data.
• Payment and order records are kept as required for tax and accounting purposes.
• Ad click identifiers and campaign parameters: up to 7 days.
• Server log files: generally up to 30 days.

Children

Tarovela is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and changes

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
